Oss Tales

In 1951, folklorist Peter Kennedy, musicologist Alan Lomax and film-maker George Pickow shot Oss Oss Wee Oss, a film about the hobby horse and the Mayday parade of Padstow. This film picks up the story in 2004, including some of the same people who appeared in the earlier film. It celebrates the combination of continuity and change that marks the welcoming of the spring in this Cornish village.
