Leeds City Museum
Evening Event - invitation to visit Leeds City Museum
18:00-19.30, Thursday 04th July
Delegates to the festival are warmly invited to step across the square on Thursday evening to visit the new Leeds City Museum. The museum opened in August 2008 in the totally refurbished historic Leeds Institute building, just a stone's throw from the Rose Bowl. The museum houses an Anthropology collection, as well as natural history, ancient worlds, and Leeds Collectors galleries. The museum also hosts temporary special exhibitions which change seasonally.
The museum includes 30 short films as part of the displays. After a welcome in the 'Arena' with its 5 big screens and 6 community pods you will be welcome to browse through the four floors of displays where you can look at a great variety of film.
For more information about the museum, please see their website. Further details will also be in the festival brochure.
